throughout the year, including theatre and musical events. The College offers several cultural
events each month. Student-produced events include theatre, dance, vocal
and instrumental concerts, speech tournaments, poetry readings and occasional

speakers and entertainers. Northwest's cultural opportunities also include
the Northwest Gallery; Natural History Museum with dioramas; and the Northwest
Civic Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra and Chorus, (whose local area musicians
present four or five concerts a year). All events are open to the public,
as is the college's John Taggart Hinckley Library. UWs Cultural Outreach program presents approximately one theatrical or musical program each year in Powell. National Public Radio Powell listeners are served by KEMC Radio of Billings, an NPR affiliate station. |
